Agilent technologies awarded the university relationship grant to Dr. Haselberg and Dr. Gargano for their proposal that aims to develop a platform to allow to sample liquid chromatographic separations of biopharmaceuticals and perform capillary electrophoresis mass spectrometry. The new method should combine the complementary selectivity of the two separations (LC&CE), with the high sensitivity of CE-MS.

The grant will last for a year and the research will take place between the UvA and VU, Agilent will sponsor the instrumentation needed to realize the project.
